Figure 1 shows the water transparency
at the stations along the B-line on December 28 measured by our improvised
Secchi-type device. The B/C3.5 station value was measured on December 24.
All stations except B3 (the anomaly over the outfall) were within the range
of the values for Secchi measurements made by the city of San Diego's monitoring
program. (See Figure 2 for the location of the stations.)
